Preuniversity course offered to first-year upper secondary school education students from Girona, Salt, Sarrià, Bescanó and Vilablareix.

How to take part

  1. Secondary schools in the area this course is aimed at will receive information on the course in January, clearly explaining the profile of students and establishing the selection criteria.
  2. Secondary school students wishing to take part will have to send a letter outlining their motivation for taking the course, to dir.depbiologia@udg.edu before 31 March 2024.
    1. Subject for the mail: Pre-enrolment preuniversity Course CRISPR
    2. Body of the mail: the following form  must be attached, specifying the student’s name, school, course and reasons for requesting a place on this summer course, also accepting the commitment to participate if selected. Applicants will also need to indicate their average biology mark on the form when applying, signed by their teacher of the same subject.
  3. Students will be chosen by the group of teachers organising the course. A maximum of 12 students and 2 substitutes will be selected (to cover cases where students are unable to participate due to circumstances beyond their control).
  4. Publication of participants: 31 May. The selected students will be informed by email (the same address used on the pre-enrolment form.
  5. In June, the selected students will receive the course dossier with full information by email.

The course is fully subsidised and includes the materials required for the course, the PPI for lab work and mandatory accident insurance.
