Marianna Soler at the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research 07 de març 2019 Recerca i transferència
Marianna Soler has made a research stay during the second semester of 2018 at the NIOZ (Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research) in Yerseke, Netherlands, in order to conduct a series of experiments to study the effect of vegetation on sediment transport in advective currents. The stay has allowed Dr. Soler to work with infrastructures of this oceanographic research center, such as a large tank. As well, during the stay, Dr. Soler has had the opportunity to work with Dr. Tjeerd Bouma, an international reference within the field of Biogeomorphology, Ecology and Coastal Vegetation. This stay has been funded by a grant of the University of Girona for the development of the professional career of the teaching staff (Ajut de la UdG per al desenvolupament de la carrera professional del professorat).
