Edusat is a web platform for educational resources in the field of observation of the Earth.It is an open educational web space available to all, which facilitates the dissemination and understanding of the science of remote sensing to a non-specialist audience.
Edusat Challenge is a teacher training project that aims to bring the science of remote sensing and Earth observation to secondary and upper primary students, with a view to promoting interest in scientific, technological and digital disciplines. The project is an initiative of the University of Girona’s Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing Service, and is supported by the Catalan government within the framework of the New Space Strategy and the STEAMCat programme, in collaboration with the Catalonia Institute for Space Studies.
