Active Project

ACTIVE is a research project that will generate new technological and scientific knowledge in the field of Interactive Technologies throughout its three-year lifetime, between June 2020 and May 2023.

In particular, virtual reality and enhanced reality are interactive technologies that will change the way people communicate and to share information.That is why adopting these technologies is crucial for increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of certain industries ranging from manufacturing, data life cycle, health, engineering, education, entertainment, the media and culture, which allow new business opportunities.

More specifically, the project attempts to improve video games technologies in the field of virtual and enhanced reality, as well as develop signature tools that facilitate the creation of interactive content by non-expert users in various platforms and environments.Finally, the project includes the development of solutions based on Serious Games for key sectors such as education, health and industry, sectors where these technologies are not widespread.
