On the one hand, the Foundation Institute Guttmann (GUTT) it is a non-profit neuro-rehabilitation hospital located in Badalona, recognised internationally as a benchmark centre for rehabilitating people with spinal injuries or brain damage.This last group usually shows cognitive alterations that reduce their functional capacity.At the beginning of this millennium, GUTT opted to promote the use of new technologies in the area of cognitive rehabilitation, so that its participation in the ACTIVE project is a continuation of its proposal for including the use of technologies in daily assistance practice.

Second, the research team at the Universitat Jaume I is made up of people from two research groups: CEVI (Interactive Visualisation Centre) and DACTIC (Design and Contemporary Art: Trend, Innovation and Creativity).

Finally, the GIlab is the Graphics and Image Laboratory at the University of Girona with two decades’ experience in image-processing and display techniques, graphic creation, multimedia platforms and online education environments with a high technological-transfer capacity.
