Master's Degree in Environmental Change: Analysis and Management

Learning objectives

The master's degree intends to train competent professionals in the analysis, diagnosis and management of global environmental changes by enhancing the necessary scientific, methodological and technical knowledge.

In this general framework, importance will be placed on climate change as the main vector of global environmental changes; in particular, the mitigation of its impacts and the adaptation of the environment and society within the framework of integrated models that facilitate environmental, economic and social sustainability.

The main objectives are as follows:

  • Acquiring basic knowledge for analysing, diagnosing and managing global environmental change.
  • Acquiring fundamental knowledge to mitigate the impacts of climate change on society and the environment and facilitating adaptation.
  • Acquiring skills, abilities and understanding instruments to respond to the aforementioned problems.
