Teaching is concentrated in the faculties and schools, and the departments deal with research, which is also conducted by institutes and chairs, at the same time responsible for knowledge promotion.
Are you passionate about nature and worried about its conservation? Are you one of those who believe that natural heritage needs to be valued, defended and maintained for future generations? Then this is the master’s degree for you! We offer you the opportunity to acquire the skills for identifying, managing, disseminating and conserving our area's unique natural assets. Natural heritage is currently a value on the rise and yet it faces numerous threats. It is essential we have professionals capable of recognising and maintaining natural habitats, ecosystems, species of community interest and geodiversity in an optimum state of conservation.
We need to strengthen the integration of science into every level of decision-making relating to the sustainable planning, protection, conservation, restoration and management of our natural heritage, and to regulate the tools needed for its knowledge, use and preservation.
