The main goal of the master is to train students as professionals in the sphere of mental health and equip them for the regulated practice of the profession of General health Psychologist, in accordance with the seventh additional provision of the general Act on public health 33/2011.This qualification allows holders to practice the profession in different spheres, on their own account —including the possibility of registering a psychology centre as a health centre — as well as for others in centres and welfare institutions. The skills acquired enable the holder to carry out evaluations and psychological interventions aimed at promoting emotional welfare, the prevention of mental health problems and support for vulnerable people.The application of research activities is also fostered in the field of the health psychology.
