Curriculum

The module for entering theses and bachelor's or master’s theses in Gerió is designed so that the author of the work enters the record, linking it to their supervisors (tutors/directors).In this way, supervisors would see this record appear in their Gerió profile, in the “My Supervision” section. Therefore, if we enter a new record for a thesis or bachelor’s/master's thesis that we have supervised, Gerió will automatically assign us as authors of this work, without the possibility of editing it to indicate the name and surname of the actual author. In these cases, please notify us at gerio@udg.edu so that we can correctly assign the record.

On Gerió, the "grants" and the "projects" are independent entities with complementary characteristics:

  • “Grants” are internal management records and enable data to be interconnected with external databases, such as those of HR, the future Àliga, etc.
  • “Projects” are the visible part of the “grants”, i.e. they collect the information that will appear on the UdG Research Portal.

For this reason, each funding proposal that has been granted gives rise to both a "grant" (for management) and a "project" (for visibility). 

Publications

For a publication, regardless of its origin, to be incorporated into the UdG's institutional repository, DugiDocs, the document must be open access and we must have the necessary license to share it.That said, since the BIBEC management staff are responsible for validating which publications can or cannot be incorporated into DugiDocs, we will always mark access as "Closed" and leave the license field marked "Not specified". BIBEC staff may contact us through Gerió if any amendments or improvements are needed.If the registration is correct, it will be incorporated into DugiDocs and a handle will be generated, which will automatically appear in Gerió and on the UdG Research Portal. 

Gerió contains all the information that was uploaded to GREC, including publications and participation in projects and contracts. Due to the age of some records, some data may be missing if it was not imported correctly during the migration process (especially with regard to co-authorships). This is why we recommend carrying out an initial review of your registers and incorporating any missing data.

Researcher profile

In the case of synchronised data you will have to contact the HR service that manages the database.

Gerió is an application by the PDI-CI at the UdG and the technical staff of management, administration and services who carry out support tasks in the management of research. If you have more than one UdG user, please check that you are using the correct one (PDI-CI contract/Doctoral Student).

If you do not have any of these profiles, you can request access by submitting a generic application through the link apps.udg.edu/Register and the application will be evaluated according to the measures of the organisation of the research (https://seu.udg.edu/ca-es/publications-officials/boudg/ebou/disposicio/3668)
