Institute of European and Comparative Private Law


Academic research about civil law

The Institute of European and Comparative Private Law organises workshops and seminars with outstanding national and international specialists and takes part in international research groups studying the harmonisation of private law and the relationships between the development of law and national cultures. Another of the institutes's objectives is to establish bonds and permanent relations with similar research institutions in other countries, as well as the association of investigators to its tasks and projects.
