University Master in Tort Law

The programme for the University Master in Tort Law is officially verified by the Ministry of Education and Science. Designed to strengthen a rigorous researcher profile, it is based on advanced research in tort law, from European and comparative perspectives, focusing in particular on the area of extra-contractual civil liability. It also deals with the foundations for analysing the principles that coordinate private law, putting special emphasis on the theses proposed by the best contemporary Theory of Law. The flexible structure of the master’s degree, based on modules and two specialities, enables students to adapt the programme to their own interests and areas of professional activity. The programme’s teaching staff includes specialists with a long academic track record in this subject, both in theory and in practice. The University of Girona's Faculty of Law also offers a full bibliographic collection and a library equipped with the latest legal-information technologies.
