Background and content The Catalan Law Conferences in Tossa de Mar have been the forum without interruption since 1982 where academic research work has come together with the practical perspectives of law professionals to intervene in the development of the new Catalan Civil Law, with a past, present and future vision. All the major topics have been dealt with throughout these editions, from basic issues of jurisdiction in civil matters to the law of success and the Europeanisation of private law, not to mention property law and a renovation of family law. The Conference Materials of all the editions have been later published, and are indispensable reading for contemporary Catalan law experts. The publications section provides you with the link to the contents of the various editions of the Conference through the University of Girona's Content Repository.
