Digital health (E-health) research line

Mission

  • Developing eHealth tools to help to formulate individualised therapeutic, participatory, updated and automated recommendations.
  • Developing methods to facilitate automated, standardised and transparent assessments of benefit-risk relations of medicines.
  • Developing methods that employ AI techniques for formulating clinical questions.
  • Studying the safety of medicines using automated learning techniques.
  • Studying cardiovascular illnesses and genetic dyslipidaemias through mass-data analyses.
  • Developing support systems for decision-making in dyslipidaemias and tools that help to assess APPs in health, AI Applications in medicine.

Vision

  • Facilitating the selection and individualisation of treatments bringing methods typical evidence-based medicine to doctors with assistance activity.
  • Complementing the information from epidemiological trials and studies through information from Real-World-Data and Smart Data studies. Developing Support Systems for the clinical decision-making with scientific-evidence, safety and cost-efficiency criteria. Helping to create useful tools in assessing digital-health tool.
