Extension or cancellation of doctoral-course enrolments

Doctorate

It is mandatory for doctoral students on UdG programmes or joint programmes coordinated by the UdG who began their studies in 2017-2018 to pass two compulsory training course credits during their doctoral studies.Enrolment on these courses is carried out exclusively through the online enrolment application. Enrolment extensions or cancellations may be requested for justified reasons and within the established deadlines.

Who

Doctoral students on UdG programmes or joint programmes coordinated by the UdG who have enrolled on one or more training courses at the School of Doctoral Studies may apply for this. 

Where

The application must be submitted online, through the UdG Online Secretary's Office.

When

Applications for enrolment cancellations or extensions (where there are available places) will only be processed for courses that begin at least 7 calendar days after the day following the date of application. 

How?

To get your application processed you will need to access the Procedures Section of the Virtual Secretary's Office, start the general “Application to the administration” procedure, choose the “Extension or cancellation of enrolment on doctoral courses” option and state the application's reason and justification, specifying the course or courses to be extended or cancelled.

Price

Free You will need to pay the corresponding credits for enrolment extensions.

Comments

There are no refunds for enrolment cancellations.

Who

The competent body for resolving such applications is the Director of the School of Doctoral Studies.

How?

Once the procedure has been completed, the student will receive an electronic notification with a link to the resolution of the application.
The resolution does not represent the end of the administrative process. An appeal may be lodged with the Rector of the University against the resolution within a period of one month following the day of the notification, in accordance with the provisions of articles 121 and in accordance with Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on common administrative procedure for public administrations.
