Descripció:
Assignatura orientada al estudiant de fisioteràpia i que vol ser una guia clínica pel fisioterapeuta que li cal detectar la possible existència de patologies sistèmiques, malalties i síndromes de dolor. Els estudiants tindran un coneixement global de la fisiopatologia humana amb els signes i símptomes que les relaciona. A més a més, es farà una introducció de la farmacodinamia i farmacocinètica de diversos medicaments, així com la utilitat dels mateixos.

1. 1.Health, Ilness, Homeostasis, Pain (somatic, neuropatic,visceral ),characteristics of pain, Prevention,Homeostasis, Fever,Hyperthermia, Hypothermia.

2. Etiology of the diseases (Intrinsic, Extrinsic and Idiopathic, Iatrogenic, Genetic)- Epidemiological triangle, Concept of Risk Factor.

3. 3. Type of Diseases: Chronic and Acute; Systemic and Localized Diseases, General Pathology - Cell adaptation (Hypertrophy,Atrophy,Hyperplasia,Metaplasia,Dysplasia, Neoplasia)-Inflammation (Acute and Chronic).

4. 4. Local Manifestations of Inflammation: Exudates, Ulceration, Abcess - Cell Injury (Reversible and Irreversible), Mechanisms of cell injury, Apoptosis, Necrosis, Tissue Repair, Wound Healing Process, Celular Aging.

Clinical case esay and oral presentation Writen esay in groups of 4 students where the professor will give a clinical situation and students will descrive and justify the signs and symptoms, diagnostic tests and global treatment for the present situation. Also students will have to descrive a possible treatment from the physiotherapy prespective.
Oral presentation and defence of the clinical case. Students will record their oral presentation (maximum of 10 minuts) and upload it in Moodle. Power Point or any other digital support can be used for the oral presentation. Every member of the group needs to participate in the presentation.

Qualificació

EVALUATION: 60% FINAL TEST + CONTINUOUS EVALUATION: 20% + 10% + 10%

FINAL TEST (60%): 50 test-type questions. Each question will have 5 possible answers and only 1 will be correct. Wrong answers will substract 1/5 of the value of the questions. To take the exam it is necessary to bring a UdG student card or identity card.

CONTINUED EVALUATION:
- Moodle test 1 (10%): Questionnaire of 25 questions with multiple answers (same criteria of the final test exam)
- Moodle test 2 (10%): Questionnaire of 25 questions with multiple answers (same criteria of the final test exam)
- Development and resolution of a clinical case in written work format, in groups of up to 4 students. Presentation and oral defense of the work recorded and will be posted in Moodle (20%).

IMPORTANT: marks of the activities of continuous evaluation of previous courses are not kept.

The review of exams and activities will be done only on a date and time established by coordination. The review is to check that there has been no error on the part of the teachers in correcting the exam and to learn how to improve for future assessments. In the case of considering that there has been an error on the part of the teaching staff of the subject in the correction and that the note must be revised, it will be requested in writing after the delivery of the exam.


IMPORTANT DURING AN EVALUATION TEST:
- No questions are answered during the exam
- Each student must only bring a pen and the UdG card (it will not be possible to ask any classmate or the teacher for extra material).
- It is mandatory to fill in the identification field correctly (UdG number).
- You cannot speak during the exam or perform behaviors that may suspect copying.

Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:
It is considered Not Presented (NP) student when is not present during the exam.

Avaluació única:
The evaluation system of EUSES - a center attached to University of Girona is, in general, continuous assessment. If the student wishes to take the single assessment, he / she must inform the professor responsible for the subject and the degree coordinator in writing format during the first two weeks of the semester.

The evaluation criteria and the activities that students in a unique evaluation situation must do are the following:
- Exame of 50 questions multiple choice + 3 open questions (80%)
- Moodle Test 1 (10%)
- Moodle Test 2 (10%)

Requisits mínims per aprovar:
To be considered to have passed the subject, a minimum grade of 5.0 / 10 must be obtained within the media of all parts, taking into consideration each part's criteria

It is necessary to obtain 4/10 of the exam in order to make media with the other evaluation activities. It is not required to have a minimum mark of the continuous evaluation activities (essay and Moodle tests) in order to make media with the exam.

Tutoria

The tutorials will be carried out in person in the enabled classrooms and also virtually.
Scenario I (presence): Tutorials will be carried out in person in the enabled classrooms. Communication and interaction with students will be done in person and the Moodle notices and news forum and e-mail will be used in addition.

Scenario IV (confinement): Tutorials will be done virtually. Communication and interaction with students will take place virtually, through the Moodle notices and news forum, video conferencing and email.

Observacions

This subject has 14 class sessions. In the 7th session (aproximately in October) will take place the Moodle test 1 and all students are expected to attend. In the 12th session (in December, aproximately) it will take place of Moodle test 2.
In January there will be the exam.


It is student's responsability to keep up to date with the comunication and activities.

Information necessary to complete the course will be entirely provided in class or through Moodle. Classes attendance is not obligatory but very recomended as every thing that it is mentioned or described in class is exam materia.

Modificació de les activitats:
The competencies and contents of the MSA subject will not be modified in any case as long as the method of activities is modified according to the scenario set by the University of Girona.

Scenario 1. Presence:
The theoretical presentation of contents and the analysis and case studies will be developed in person in the classrooms.

Scenario 4: All classes will be telematic both synchronously and asynchronously

To pass the subject of MSA will require a TOTAL FINAL MARK of 5. (written test + activities of continuous evaluation)

Only students who do not pass (with a grade lower than 5 of the FINAL GRADE of the subject) will opt for a recuperation exam where the maximum grade will be 5 (all those who have passed must obtain at least a 5 and obtain as to a maximum grade of 5), and in no case will the grades obtained in the continuous assessment activities be added.
Not presented (NP) students will be those who do not carry out any continuous assessment activity or the final written test or the recuperation exam.


Scenario IV. Confinement:
The totality of the evaluation activity will be carried out in telematic form with the visual follow-up of the student with Zoom program.
