The Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, the only university bachelor's degree in Catalonia in this field, places at your disposal the necessary tools and contents for you to become a professional of the stage and performance. During the four years of education, you will develop the necessary skills and aptitudes to create, imagine, invent, direct and perform.
The curriculum of the Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts aims to create performers with staging skills, or set creators with performance skills.
Our students begin the course with comprehensive performance training - text, gesture, movement, dance - and acquire skills in the field of directing, theatre art, space creation and stage technology. The educational strategy is based on ongoing performance and staging practice.
Our studies offer three main pathways: performance, stage creation and performance in front of a camera. From the start of the course, students carry out a series of staging tasks that culminate, in the fourth and final year, in the staging of a production that will be presented on a professional platform.
In each of the four years of the course, the staging subjects are fundamental and form the basis of the rest of the subjects. The course also includes training in the audiovisual field for performing arts professionals: performing in front of a camera and knowledge of audiovisual production processes, delivered by experienced film directors.
The teaching is delivered by a carefully selected group of performing arts and audiovisual professionals who guide the students, using an eminently practical methodology, which leads students to discover their own potential and thereby opens up doors to an extensive range of career options.
The Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts shares a building with the Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication, which has the necessary professionals and materials to become a leader in Catalonia for performance in front of a camera.
