Admission with Spanish degrees

To be accepted for doctoral studies, students with Spanish certificates, when filling in the online application on the website of the School of Doctoral Studies by the established deadline, will have to attach the academic documentation depending on the access requirements they can accredit:

  1. National ID, foreign-national identification (NIE) or valid passport.
  2. Bachelor's degree studies: official Spanish certificate of university bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  3. Postgraduate studies: official certificate of university master's degree or equivalent and personal academic certification. Or, where appropriate, a certificate accrediting at least two years’ education under a programme for obtaining a degree in a Health Sciences speciality, or the official Spanish doctor’s qualification.

Students who have successfully completed the bachelor's degree studies and postgraduate at the University of Girona will only need to fill in the online application.

The School of Doctoral Studies will review this documentation and verify that the access requirements are met.

Once the student is admitted to the doctoral programme they will have to provide their original academic document for the School of Doctoral Studies, attached at the point the pre-enrolment process is completed. It will not be necessary to provide documents of studies successfully completed at the UdG. This will be essential for requesting the certificate of doctoral studies when the time comes.
