Docència

Coneix les activitats docents que estem realitzant.

  • Activities with recognised credit transfer. We offer a set of cumulative and exchangeable activities for the laboratory’s ECTS credits. The consist of participating in studies developed by the teaching staff of the Department of Psychology and in conferences organised by the laboratory. On the following link you can find out about the activities and register for Laboratory Moodle
  • Programme of lectures. Each year, the laboratory invites two researchers to present their research work. This activity is aimed at Psychology students and teaching staff in the Department of Psychology. The aim is to broaden students' perspectives on research and professional practice in psychology.

  • Test loan and marking service. The laboratory provides a wide variety of tests used in various subjects within the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology programme, as well as in programmes delivered on Early Childhood and Primary Education and Teaching degrees. It also offers a dedicated space (Laboratory 152) for the digital marking of certain tests, through the purchase of marking packages.

  • Research Methods Laboratory (Grants for the Improvement of Teaching Quality 2024-2025). As part of the subject of Foundations of Psychology, various placements are carried out to visit and learn about laboratory spaces, as well as to learn how to use research tools such as the eye-tracker, experiment-creation programmes, observational coding techniques and data analysis.

  • Primates Laboratory (Grants for improving teaching quality 2025-2026). As part of the subject of Foundations of Psychobiology the Primates Laboratory project is a practical activity aimed at strengthening the learning of the evolution and phylogeny of behaviour block.Through the use of osteological replicas of primates and hominids, students can observe and compare different species, facilitating an understanding of the relationship between morphology, behaviour and cognition, as well as the development of comparative analysis skills, critical thinking and collaborative work.

  • Personality and social context. Within the subject Personality and Social Context, and specifically in block I of Personality, an activity linked to the Lab‑DH is carried out, within the framework of the biological perspective of personality. During the session, students can observe an electroencephalogram (EEG) record while carrying out a type of taskgambling. Subsequently, the evoked potential and their time-by-frequency decomposition are identified, associated with sensitivity to punishment and reward. This activity allows students to experience first-hand how empirical evidence is generated from neurophysiological data and to understand the value of neuroimaging as a tool that complements psychometric assessment.

  • CAPI-3. Every year, a group of students from the subject Integrated academic and professional skills (3) (CAPI-3) of the Bachelor's degree in Psychology carries out its practical classes at the Lab-DH.These practices usually represent the students' first contact with the research groups, and allow them to discover first-hand how a research laboratory works, as well as guide them on the possibility of continuing to train in this area in later stages.

  • Practicum 2 and bachelor's thesis. Each year, psychology students choose to undertake their practicum and/or bachelor's thesis within one of the research groups that form part of the laboratory. Lab-DH acts as a space for the development of the activities during their stay, providing the infrastructure, IT equipment, and other necessary materials.

  • GiD Psychology Laboratory: practice-based learning and experimentation. The laboratory has a teaching innovation group which seeks to promote meaningful and experiential learning (through experimentation and practice), which allows for a better development of professional skills in the field of Psychology within the framework of the needs of the different students at the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FEP).
