UdG Health Week

1 to 7 April 2019

To mark the week with the World Physical Activity Day (6 April) and World Health Day (7 April), we invite you this year to take part in the Health Week 2019’s activities from 1 to 7 April, bearing the slogan Look after yourself, we're counting on you”. The conference will be inviting you to reflect on the benefits of a lifestyle with emotional well-being, healthy physical activity and good food.

Activity agenda

With the objective of promoting the healthy habits between the university community and the society from Girona, the Unit of Social Commitment, the Faculty of Medicine and Infirmary, the Sports Service, the Health Campus, Occupational Health Office and the Chair of Health Promotion have collaborated in the different campus of the University of Girona to offer activities, workshops and free lectures to celebrate the Week of the Health. 

All activities are free but require attendance control. You will need to enrol beforehand, owing to the venues’ limited capacities. In case there are more applications than available squares, it will be made to a draw.

If you are a student and wish to obtain CREDITS with that week's activities, you can do that depending on your interests, by registering, specifically, on the corresponding web page: Sports Service or Area for Volunteers for the Social Commitment Unit.

If you are NOT a student, you can sign up for the activities at the Social Commitment Unit and the Occupational Health Office by emailing to before 27 March. To aim yourself that they belong in the service of Sports at the activities, you can register in its web even at the beginning of the activity or until the sellout of squares.

From 3 to 7 April 2018

UdG Health Week took place during the week o 3 to 7 April. Its aim was to promote healthy habits among the university community and the general public of Girona. It coincided with World Physical Activity Day (6 April) and World Health Day (7 April).
