Activitats d'avaluació: Descripció de l'activitat Avaluació de l'activitat % Practical Exercises 20 Guided Work 30 Not guided Work 20 Written Exam 30
The evaluation is calculated by means of the following items: FM = Final Mark WE = Written Exam PE = Practical Exercises GW = Guided Work NW = Not guided Work Five assignments have to be delivered during the course: A1 to A5. These assignments represent exercises of GW, NW and PE. Options for the evaluation of the course: > Option 1: · A1 to A5 = GW (30%) + NW (20%) + PE (20%) = 70% · WE = 30% FM = 0.7 x (A1 to A5) + 0.3 x WE > Option 2: · A1 to A4 = GW (30%) + NW (20%) = 50% · User-Subroutine (US) = code (PE (20%)) + presentation (WE (30%)) = 50 % FM = 0.5 x (A1 to A4) + 0.5 x US Comments: · A5 is not requested. · WE is not requested. · User-subroutine is the implementation, in a commercial finite element code, of a 2D and 4 node isoparametric element. · If the student decides to change the evaluation from Option 2 to Option 1, it should be notified to the teacher one week before the exam. For any option, a minimum mark of 5 is needed (over 10 points) to pass the course. It is worth noting that if an assignment is delivered after the fixed deadline, the mark will be automatically reduced 2 points over 10. Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:The mark “No Show” (NP) will appear in the certificate in cases where the following points are satisfied: - The student does not attend the WE, or the student does not deliver the US. - The student delivers less than two assignments Ai. Otherwise, the mark of the subject will be calculated using the formula noted above. It is worth noting that if the student does not deliver any assessment part, this part will have a mark equal to zero.
