The Master in Data Science at the University of Girona aims to offer the possibility of acquiring specialised training in the multidisciplinary set of techniques, algorithms and processes used to be able to extract knowledge from any data source mainly, but not exclusively, to graduates and professionals in the field of computer science and engineering. The master's degree will be eminently practical and applied, while guaranteeing the learning of a solid statistical and programming foundation applied to data science.Upon completion of the studies, the student will know the main tools and methods of data science in order to undertake the development and/or direction and management of a data science project. At the same time, this master's degree also opens the door to research and doctoral studies in areas such as artificial intelligence, statistics, mathematics, etc.
