Teaching is concentrated in the faculties and schools, and the departments deal with research, which is also conducted by institutes and chairs, at the same time responsible for knowledge promotion.
The Gender Health and Ageing Research Group (GReSaGEn) focuses on health research, and more specifically on mental health and nursing care in pathological processes that require attention to the life process, gender inequalities related to health, gender violence, obstetric violence and ageing from an epidemiological perspective, healthy ageing, the pathological processes of ageing and nursing care of older people and their immediate circle.
