Conscious awareness has long been a subject of philosophical debate and has more recently become a focal point in cognitive neuroscience. Although much of human behavior operates beyond conscious awareness, its significance in daily life and society cannot be overstated. During this workshop we will discuss the neural underpinnings of consciousness and how to improve the ways in which we study the neural correlates of consciousness.
