Teaching is concentrated in the faculties and schools, and the departments deal with research, which is also conducted by institutes and chairs, at the same time responsible for knowledge promotion.
This cycle has a very clear objective: raising awareness of health aspects within society. The lectures are taught by experts from different medical specialisms with professional ties to the province of Girona. Different subjects are covered, including pathologies incident within the population, as well as habits that have a direct impact on our health. These lectures are being held thanks to the support of the Board of Trustees of the University of Girona.
