Students coursing two or more simultaneous subjects may have difficulties to opt for the continuous assessment of the
subjects in question.

All these tests and exams are corrected according to the Cambridge exams scale.
The second part of the course (February to May) focuses on specified Marketing contents in the Market Leader Advanced coursebook. Tests 3 and 4 evaluates vocabulary and skills contents worked on in class while Speaking Test 2 consists of a simulation in groups.

STUDENTS FOLLOWING THE CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT CAN MISS A TOTAL OF TWO TESTS, ONE IN EACH SEMESTER, with no need of justification. STUDENTS CAN'T MISS THE JANUARY EXAM, IF THEY DO THEY WILL HAVE A "0" IN THEIR MARK. Under no circumstances can any of the speaking tests and tests be taken on a different date; however, this will not affect students’ mark. At the beginning of the course students will be provided with some further guidelines on the subject.
STUDENTS MISSING MORE THAN THE 50% OF THE DIFFERENT ASSESSMENT TASKS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CLASSIFIED AS FINAL EVALUATION STUDENTS.
Students leaving for Erasmus or international programmes (Taiwan) and who wish to do continuous evaluation the second semester will have to do an exam in January/February exam where they will take an exam counting the 50% of their final mark. If they fail to do this exam, they will have to do final evaluation.
IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE AS CANDIDATES FOR THE OFFICIAL CAMBRIDGE EXAM, STUDENTS NEED TO ACHIEVE A MINIMUM MARK OF 60% IN THE JANUARY EXAM.
