MAY/JUNE MOCK EXAM 20%
PORTFOLIO 30%
SPEAKING TESTS 20%
Final assessment (June or July):
Oral: 40%
Listening: 20%

Students are advised against plagiarism. Any detected and proved case of plagiarism will automatically be marked as a “0” (zero). This includes plagiarism in the Portfolio tasks.
Students following the continuous assessment can miss 1 test with no need of justification, except May/June and/or June/July exams where only a medical or work justification will be needed and accepted. Under no circumstances can any of the speaking tests or mid-term exam be taken on a different date; however, this will not affect students’ mark. No portfolio tasks will be accepted after each of the dates indicated for submission or in electronic format; students will only be allowed to miss one of these tasks, since missing more than one will automatically signify a "0" in the portfolio, which constitutes a 30% of the total mark.
At the beginning of the course students will be provided with some further guidelines on the subject.
