Descripció:
Els continguts van dirigits a tenir la capacitat de valorar des de la perspectiva de la fisioteràpia l'estat funcional del pacient/usuari, considerant els aspectes físics, psicològics i socials del mateix. Identificació d'estructures normals i alterades mitjançant la palpació. Proves específiques per a diagnòstic de lesions múscul esquelètiques.

Qualificació

a. Students must obtain a minimum of 5/10, once their three practical exams are averaged out, in order to pass the subject. Students not reaching 5/10 on their practical exam block will have to take the practical component of the BCE at the end of the semester.
b. It is compulsory to pass (5/10) the theory exam. Those failing to reach a mark of 5/10 will have to take the BCE theory exam.
c. Students under continuance assessment mode must attend 80% of class.
d. Participation and Attendance is compulsory for the Group Presentation
The maximum achievable mark for students who complete any part of the BCE is 5/10.




Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:
Any student not having overcome the subject by means of the mid-term exams and not reporting to the minimal competences exam will be evaluated as "not sat" (did not present for evaluation).

Avaluació única:
The evaluation system in EUSES - UdG is based, in general, in the continuous assessment. If the student wishes to take part in the unique pathway, he/she will need to request it in writing to the lecturer of the subject and the degree coordinator during the first two weeks of the Semester.

Those electing to follow the unique pathway will have theory and both practical exams (combined upper limb and lower limb) in the official exam week. It is required to receive an 5/10 or above for both exams. The practical exam would be worth 60% and the theory exam would be worth 40%.

Requisits mínims per aprovar:
A minimum grade of 5.0 will be required to pass the subject.

Tutoria

The tutorials will be carried out in person in enabled classrooms, and also virtually.

Comunicacio i interacció amb l'estudiantat

Communication and interaction with the students will be done in person and virtually throughout the forum of Moodle, video-conferencing means and email.

Observacions

This is a hands-on practical class. You are expected to practice respectfully. Rings, bracelets or long nails are not allowed during clases or exams. You must wear your full uniform during practical exams.

Scenario I. In person: the tutorials will be carried out in person in enabled classrooms. Communication and interaction with the students will be in person, and the Moodle fórum and email will be used in addition.
Scenario IV. Confinement: Tutorials will be virtually conducted. Communication and interaction with the students will take place virtually, through the forum of Moodle, video-conferencing means and email.


Learning outcomes:

- Having the ability to assess the functional status of the patient/user from the perspective of Physiotherapy, by considering physical, psychological and social aspects.
- Understanding and applying manual and instrumental assessment methods and procedures in Physiotherapy and Physical Rehabilitation, as well as the scientific evaluation of their usefulness and effectiveness.

If scenarios 1 occurs a move towards full attendance practical classes will occur.
If scenario 4 occurs, practical classes and examination will be conducted virtually via Zoom

• Practical Exam 2 x 25%
• Theory Exam (June 4th) 50%
As for other scenarios, a combined passmark of 5/10 for both practical exams is required. It is also required to achieve 5/10 or above.
