The Euroaula University School of Tourism, as a centre affiliated to the University of Girona, with more than 25 years experience in teaching, delivers the Degree in Tourism, adapted to the new European Higher Education Area.

Since the 2014-2015 academic year, Euroaula has been offering the possibility of studying two certificates in 4 years: the Bachelor's degree in Tourism and the Bachelor’s Degree in International Hospitality & Tourism Management with the prestigious university of BBI, School for International Hospitality & Tourism Business.An official dual bachelor’s degree awarded by the University of Girona and the Ministry of Education of Luxembourg.

Tourist sector

The tourist sector has been growing since the last century, increasingly helped along by society which has a direct interest in tourism.Technological advances have contributed to its growth and have helped this sector to become one of the most important at a global level and one of the leading economic sectors.

Tourism is one of the main sectors that boost the country's economy and stands out for its capacity to create jobs.For this reason, the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism offers the skills needed by future managers of the tourist sector.

The curriculum of the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge and the personal and professional skills that will equip them to successfully tackle the challenges of the tourist sector, specialising in Hotel Management, with two qualifications in 4 years.

The Bachelor's Degree in Tourism prepares graduates for a career in roles such as operations manager in the following tourism-related areas:hotels, tourist accommodation, restaurants, intermediary, transport and logistics, public planning and management of destinations, tourist products and activities, theme parks, training, research and consultancy, public institutions within the tourism sector.

Thanks to the job bank service, in the Human Resources department of the Euroaula School of Tourism and on Hosco, we are able to help those students who wish to find a work experience placement or a job both nationally and internationally, helping them to get into work and advising them on preparing for and planning their professional career.

For any students who wish to continue their academic career and want to acquire specialist knowledge and a postgraduate qualification, the Euroaula School of Tourism offers a number of its own master's degrees, with the qualification awarded by the University of Girona Foundation:

Euroaula offers specific training for those seeking to take on senior executive roles in tourist companies.Depending on the master's degree, students can choose how they wish to take the course: classroom-based or online.

Students have to gain a series of credits, as part of their studies, which correspond to internships in companies or institutions relating to the bachelor’s degree they are studying.The teaching load is determined in accordance with the curriculum.

To obtain the degree, students have to complete a bachelor's thesis (TFG) which serves to assess the general skills they have acquired over the course of the degree programme and offers a summary of the skills and knowledge they have acquired.The teaching load of the thesis depends on the curriculum of the degree.

Students can complete part of their degree programme abroad through the Erasmus programme, which enables them to carry on their studies whilst undertaking an international exchange with academic value in a European university.

They also have access to grants for placements at universities in Spain and on other continents, thanks to bilateral agreements, the SICUE programme and the expansion of the Erasmus+ Programme.

Enrolment for the 2026-27 academic year for new students will mainly be online, from any computer connected to the internet, using the self-enrolment web application.
