Ramon Fabregat obtained a PhD in Industrial Engineering at the University of Girona (UdG) in 1998. He is a lecturer at the University of Girona and Co-Head of Broadband Communications and Distributed Systems (BCDS) research group. He carries out R&D on: Technology enhanced inclusive learning, Inclusive, accessible and adaptive learning, user modelling and personalization of virtual learning platforms; Educational Resources Co-Creation; Augmented Reality; Game Based Learning and gifted education.
Coordinator of the participation of the BCDS group in different national projects: ADAPTPlan and A2UN@. PI of the national projects ARrELS and Open Co-Creation.
Technical coordinator of the European project ALTER-NATIVA (Curricular references with technological incorporation for faculties of Education in the areas of Language, Mathematics and Sciences, to serve populations in contexts of diversity - DCI-ALA 19.09.01 /10/21526 / 245-575 / ALFA III (2010) 88) of the ALFA III program.
