I am a PhD student in the Environmental Science program, specialized in the detection of parasites in the Catalan sardine fishery and their impact on the condition and reproduction of the population. In 2016, I graduated in Biology from the University of Girona and subsequently completed my Master's degree in Oceanography and Marine Environmental Management at the University of Barcelona. As a researcher, I belong to the consolidated research group SGR 01073 MedRecover, where we collaborate on marine environment restoration research. Within the University of Girona, I am part of the Biodiversity and Marine Resources Research Group (GRMAR) and the Institute of Aquatic Ecology (IEA). I have worked as an associated technician on four projects, three related to sardine biology and one focused on the conservation of the European shag. Through these projects, I have acquired a wide range of practical knowledge and skills in the field of marine biology. Additionally, I have worked as an associated professor in the Biology department for the Genetics Area and currently teach as a substitute professor for the Department of Environmental Sciences at the same University of Girona.
