Project funded in the call for Grants for Scientific Research Teams SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 of the BBVA Foundation

The main objective of this research project is to analyse the impact of the 1918 influenza outbreak from a perspective of cultural and political history, with an analysis of the possible links between the epidemic of the last century and the current pandemic of the Covid-19 in terms of discourses and processes. Carried out by an international and multidisciplinary research team.

Main researcher: Maximiliano Fuentes Codera, director of the Walter Benjamin Chair, Memory and Exile of the University of Girona
