ONCOen3D

Research project

ONCOen3D is a biomedical engineering project that has reached a very important milestone in the research against triple negative breast cancer using scaffolds, some matrices printed in 3D with printers that allow tumorous cells to be nourished.

The results have already been published in various scientific journals such as International Journal of Molecular Sciences and Polymers , , and shown at different international congresses.

This project has been funded through the different competitive calls of organisations such as the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, Instituto de Salut Carlos III i la Fundación Ramon Areces . Thank yous have also been given to the various contributions made through the different editions of Oncoswim, the open water solidarity swim organised by the Girona Oncology Foundation and Radikal Swim Swimming Club.
