Line of research: Tumour markers

Anomalous glycosilation of several seric proteins as possible tumour markers of carcinomas.Currently focused on pancreas and prostate carcinomas, in particular on the anomalous glycosylation of human pancreatic ribonuclease, acute-phase proteins and PSA (prostate-specific antigen).Extensible to other glycoproteins (Proteomics and Glycomics).
