In this call, applications can be made for 2 different types of Erasmus+ for Traineeships mobility stays:

1. STUDENT traineeships

Applicants must be UdG students when they apply to participate, during the traineeship and when the traineeship ends. The traineeships, which may be embedded in the curriculum and credit-bearing (recognized for academic credit) or extracurricular (voluntary and non-credit-bearing).

To apply, students must have already located a company or institution prepared to host them for the traineeship. Therefore, applications must be accompanied by one of these two documents:

  • Letter of Acceptance . Scanned copy of a letter of acceptance filled and signed by the host company or institution.
  • Learning Agreement for Traineeships . Scanned copy of the learning agreement for traineeships completed and signed at least by a representative of the host company or institution. Preferably, it should be also signed by the student and the responsible person in the student’s faculty or school at the UdG.

If neither of these two documents is submitted with the application, students will be notified that they have 10 days to meet the requirement before the application is rejected.

2. RECENT GRADUATE traineeships

Since the 2014-15 call for applications, the Erasmus+ programme also allows recent graduates to complete mobility traineeships.

During their last year of studies at the UdG, students can apply for an Erasmus+ for Traineeships mobility. They must, however, complete the traineeship within a year of graduation, between 1st June 2023 and 30th September 2024. These traineeships will be voluntary, without academic credit.

To apply to participate in the programme for a recent graduate traineeship, students do not need to have located a company or institution prepared to host them for the traineeship when the application is submitted.

For this reason, applications must be accompanied by one of these three documents:

  • Letter of intent. Applicants applying as recent graduates who have still not located a place to complete the traineeship must submit a letter of intent with the application. The letter should describe their abilities and skills, their motivation to complete a mobility traineeship in a foreign country and their learning expectations. It doesn’t need to be longer than one page.
  • Letter of AcceptanceStudents who have already located a company or institution to host them during the traineeship can enclose a scanned copy of a letter of acceptance filled and signed by the host company or institution.
  • Learning Agreement for Traineeships . Students who have already located a placement can also submit a scanned copy of the Learning Agreement for Traineeships completed and signed at least by a representative of the host company or institution. Preferably, it should also be signed by the student and by the responsible person from the student’s faculty or school at the UdG.

If the required document is not submitted with the application, students will be notified that they have 10 days to do so before their application is rejected.

A resolution will be issued to accept or reject the application within two months of receiving it. Christmas, Easter and August holidays closing days are not included in the two-month period before the resolution is issued.
