Research Group in International Law, International Relations and European Union

Presentation

The Research Group in International Law, International Relations, and European Union of the University of Girona is made up of teaching and research staff in the fields of law and social sciences.Most of its members belong to the Field of Public International Law and International Relations of the University of Girona, and the group also benefits from the contribution of external collaborators who specialise in these subjects.

With a consolidated track record, the research and group has focused on the analysis and study of major contemporary global and European challenges. His work combines theoretical research with practical application, dealing with crucial areas such as international governance, human rights protection, international cooperation and security, migratory movements, criminal cooperation, cross-border cooperation and European integration processes.

In addition, the group collaborates closely with leading entities such as Europe Direct Girona and the Centre for European Documentation, thus reinforcing its commitment to the dissemination and transfer of knowledge.

The researchers in the group are active members of the Asociación de Profesores de Derecho Internacional y Relaciones Internacionales (AEPDIRI) and of the Asociación para la Investigación en Derecho de Asilo y Migración (AIDAM).
