Statistics, Econometrics and Health Research Group

The Statistics, Econometrics and Health Research Group (GRECS) is a multidisciplinary research group made up of statisticians, epidemiologists, economists and specialists in environment, biomedicine and bio-computer science.

The main lines of research of GRECS are:

  • Environmental and clinical epidemiology, with special emphasis at present on motoneuron disease and COVID-19.
  • Statistical and econometric methods, in particular spatial statistics, analysis of survival and compositional data.
  • Real World Data and Real World Evidence.

GRECS is accredited at both Catalan and state level through belonging to the Centre for Biomedical Research in Epidemiology and Public Health (CIBERESP), and through its recognition as a consolidated research group recognised by the Government of Catalonia through its SGR call from AGAUR.
