We will produce a summary characterisation of the written Catalan language which can be documented in medieval and modern texts (before 18th century), both literary and non-literary, in order to familiarise students with the language of these texts, ensure they understand them and to facilitate grammatical analysis.Another of the aims of the subject is to provide students with knowledge of the main consultation tools in the field of historical Catalan grammar and to put these into practice.subject.
