If fraudulent actions are detected in any type of academic activity (use of information without authorization, use of false information, use of unauthorized devices, impersonation, total or partial plagiarism, purchase and sale of tests, practices and assignments, etc) the students involved will automatically fail the subject. Depending on the type of fraudulent activity, the School Management will initiate the appropriate procedures in accordance with Llei 3/2022 de 24 de febrer de Convivència Universitària (https://www.boe.es/eli/es/l/2022/02/24/3).
The use of AI tools is permitted for information search, computer code generation, the preparation of a first draft of documents to be delivered or presented, and the linguistic improvement of texts.
However, the student is fully responsible for this, and must understand, validate and be able to justify the proposals used through AI. This justification will be verified through specific questions in oral defenses or similar activities; the inability to adequately defend the presented contents will imply a negative assessment in the evaluation of the activity (with a non-pass of the activity or a penalty of the grade).
Regarding the use of AI in writing texts, the student is required to carry out a critical reading of the results, avoiding repetitions and unnecessarily long texts.
