General information

Academic year:
2024
Description:
The course presents an introduction to composite materials, describing their composition, architecture of reinforcements and the most common manufacturing methods. It also presents applications in the sectors where they are most relevant (aeronautics, automotive, wind and construction). Finally, the concepts related to sustainability and life cycle analysis are introduced.
