Analitza les funcions bàsiques de la direcció, l'estructura organitzativa i els principals subsistemes empresarials, amb l'objectiu de comprendre els processos de presa de decisions i la gestió eficient dels recursos en entorns competitius.

La qualificació de "No Presentat" exhaureix convocatòria de qualificació als efectes previstos en la normativa de Permanència i progressió en estudis de grau de la Universitat de Girona.

Avaluació única:
It will be carried out by both non-face-to-face students and those who have opted for the single assessment (renouncing continuous assessment). It will consist of a theoretical-practical test in which they will be evaluated on all the contents that will be worth 100% of the grade. If you do not pass this call, you can make up in the extraordinary call.
Minimum requirements to pass: at least a mark of 5.00 points must be obtained in the theoretical-practical test.

The single assessment may be requested for one or more subjects when the interested party considers that they cannot undergo continuous evaluation for:
b1. Unsolvable work incompatibility (external internships not considered here).
b2. Long-term health problems.
b3. Serious family reasons.
b4. Existence of relevant academic difficulties to be able to follow the continuous evaluation of subjects not passed and enrolled in the second call or posterior.

CONTINUOUS ORDINARY CALL

Intended for in-person students. Student performance will be assessed based on their completion of case studies, exercises, and assignments throughout the semester through:

• Case analysis and exercise completion (30% of the grade)
• Term paper (30% of the grade)
• Theoretical-practical assessment exam (accounting for 40% of the grade): an exam covering the entire course content (divided into two parts, the first covering topics 1, 2, 3, and 4, and the second covering topics 5, 6, 7, and 8).

Minimum requirements for passing: To pass the continuous assessment, in addition to achieving a weighted average of 5.00 points across all grades, the score on the theoretical-practical assessment must be at least five points. If a student does not pass during this exam period, they may retake the exam during the make-up exam period.

SINGLE ORDINARY CALL

Both distance learners and students who have opted for the single assessment (waiving the continuous assessment) will take this exam. It will consist of a theoretical-practical exam covering the entire course content, which will account for 100% of the final grade. If a student does not pass this exam, they may retake it during the make-up exam period.

Minimum requirements for passing: students must obtain a grade of at least 5.00 on the theoretical-practical exam.

EXTRAORDINARY CALL

Students (both on-campus and online) who have not passed the regular exam session (whether in the continuous or single-session format) must take a theoretical-practical exam covering the entire course content, which will account for 100% of the grade.

Minimum requirements for passing: a score of at least 5.00 points must be obtained on the theoretical-practical exam.



Interested students must request it through the online secretary, attaching the relevant documentation, and the deadlines will be:
First semester subjects: 28-09-2026
Second semester subjects: 11-02-2027

Tutoria

Students will receive tutoring from the teacher through personal meetings, videoconference or through email. The contact email with the teacher is julia.alabart@eum.es. The schedules of the tutorials will be set by mutual agreement between students and teacher, upon request by email. The face-to-face tutorials will be carried out (within the hours in which information is provided in the moodle of the subject and upon request) in the Company Office of the Consell de Cent Building, located at C/ Consell de Cent, 143. 08015 Barcelona

Comunicació i interacció amb l'estudiantat

Communication and interaction with students will be carried out through all possible means foreseen according to the structures and regulations of the school, depending on the requirements of each specific situation: classrooms, moodle, email, videoconferencing.

Observacions

The following Learning Results will be evaluated with the activities carried out during the whole semester:
RAT-C1: Combinar metodologías de origen multidisciplinar para la toma de decisiones en la resolución de problemas. TIPO: Competencias.
RAT-C2: Diseñar acciones para hacer frente a las desigualdades por razones de sexo y género. TIPO: Competencias.
RAT-C3: Evaluar la sostenibilidad desde un punto de vista económico, organizativo, medioambiental y social. TIPO: Competencias.
RAT-C4: Planificar procesos y proyectos empresariales internacionales, gestionando tareas y operativas, ya sea de forma autónoma o en equipo. TIPO: Competencias.
RAT-C5: Programar estrategias de alcance corporativo, competitivo y funcional en empresas y organizaciones. TIPO: Competencias.
RAT-C6: Combinar el intelecto, los conocimientos y el pensamiento divergente (creatividad) en la búsqueda de soluciones adecuadas a problemas específicos. TIPO: Competencias.

On the other hand, it is recommended that all students:

1. Respect for an appropriate learning and study environment in order to be able to take advantage of the theoretical and practical content that the teacher makes available to them throughout the development of the subject in an effective and efficient way
2. Attendance at individual tutorials, as it is a proven method of learning aid that is very useful and useful, especially in those cases where it is more difficult to understand the contents of the subject.

In this subject, an attendance control will be carried out at the beginning of each session for purely statistical purposes. Attendance is not mandatory, although it is fully recommended. Punctuality is required at the beginning of classes, so that the sessions take place with the least possible inconvenience. Since attendance at the sessions is not compulsory, students are required to have absolute respect for the teaching staff and the rest of the students (otherwise, they will be invited to leave the classroom).

Throughout the course, several of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be addressed or utilized, specifically those related to ending poverty, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, industry, innovation, and infrastructure, reduced inequalities, responsible consumption and production.

Likewise, a gender perspective will be incorporated into the development of the sessions, and various soft skills will be addressed, such as resilience, critical thinking, commitment, integrity, empathy, teamwork, a growth mindset, lifelong and independent learning, communication, creativity and innovation, data analysis, flexibility, professionalism, responsibility, work ethic, trust, leadership, professional ethics, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation.

SCENARIO 1: 100% IN-PERSON INSTRUCTION

The planned activities will continue as scheduled.

SCENARIO 2: BLENDED LEARNING

Students attend in-person sessions on alternate days with varying group compositions. Students who do not attend in person follow the recorded or live-streamed sessions and participate in case studies and other course activities via Moodle.

SCENARIO 3: 100% ONLINE INSTRUCTION

Students receive teaching sessions online, either recorded or via live streaming, and participate in case studies and other teaching activities through Moodle.

• Term paper (accounting for 30% of the grade).
• Theoretical-practical assessment (70% of the grade): an exam covering the entire course content, including case analysis and problem-solving exercises.

Minimum requirements for passing: To pass the continuous assessment, in addition to achieving a weighted average of five points across all grades, the score on the theoretical-practical assessment must be at least five points. If a student does not pass during the regular exam period, they may retake the exam during the make-up exam period.

Single Ordinary Call

This exam will be taken by both distance learning students and those who have opted for the single exam (waiving the continuous assessment). It will consist of a theoretical-practical exam covering the entire course content, which will account for 100% of the final grade.

Minimum requirements for passing: You must earn a score of at least 5.00 on the theoretical-practical exam. If you do not pass this exam session, you may retake it during the make-up exam session.

Extraordinary Call

Students (both on-campus and online) who have not passed the regular exam session (whether in the continuous or single-session format) must take a theoretical-practical exam covering the entire syllabus, which will account for 100% of the final grade.

Minimum requirements for passing: a score of at least 5.00 points must be obtained on the theoretical-practical exam.

In this scenario, assessment exams are scheduled to be held in person (for both the regular and special exam sessions), unless a lockdown is in effect on the dates of the exams.

SCENARIO 3: 100% ONLINE INSTRUCTION

Continuous Ordinary Call

Intended for on-campus students. Student performance will be assessed based on their completion of case studies, exercises, and assignments carried out during the semester via :

• Monographic assignment (accounting for 30% of the grade).
• Theoretical-practical assessment (70% of the grade). This assessment will be conducted using the Moodle platform, ensuring that students receive different exams in which they must answer competency-based questions.

Minimum requirements for passing: To pass the continuous assessment, in addition to achieving a weighted average of five points across all grades, the score on the theoretical-practical assessment must be at least five points. If a student does not pass this session, they may retake the exam during the make-up session.

Single Ordinary Call

This session is for both distance learners and those who have opted for the single assessment (waiving the continuous assessment). It will consist of a final theoretical-practical exam (100% of the grade). This exam will be administered using the Moodle platform, ensuring that students receive different exams in which they must answer competency-based questions.
