Observacions

Gender perspective
The subject incorporates the gender perspective in a transversal way by analysing how gender, diversity and social inequalities influence tourism demand, travel motivations, mobility patterns, risk perception, accessibility, digital behaviour and the consumption of tourism experiences. Students will critically examine whether destinations, companies and tourism products reproduce stereotypes or promote inclusive, safe and respectful experiences. The design of tourism experiences must include gender-sensitive and inclusive criteria, considering diversity, accessibility, safety and equal participation.

Sustainable Development Goals
The subject contributes especially to the following Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 Quality Education, SDG 5 Gender Equality, SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities, SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production, and SDG 13 Climate Action. These goals are addressed through the analysis of new tourist profiles, responsible consumption, sustainable mobility, inclusive tourism, accessibility, gender-sensitive tourism, climate awareness and the design of innovative tourism experiences adapted to emerging social and environmental challenges.

Soft skills
The subject promotes the development of key soft skills such as critical thinking, creativity, analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, ethical awareness, problem-solving, intercultural sensitivity and adaptability.
