1. GENERAL OBJECTIVES 1.1. Explain the basic principles of biomechanics and their applicability to articulation (joint) function. 1.2. Analyze the force systems that act on the key articulations of the locomotor system. 1.3. Describe the role played by the different muscles that act on an articulation and body position at the start of and during a movement. 1.4. Analyze how a muscular impairment generates compensation by other parts of the system, and explain the possible consequences on locomotor system pathology. 1.5. Demonstrate a deep understanding of neuromuscular movement and analyze the applicable mechanisms of functional feedback. 2. LEARNING UNIT: TRUNK 3. LEARNING UNIT: UPPER EXTREMITY 4. LEARNING UNIT: LOWER EXTREMITY

Student must write a little explanation about his/her choose. From this 4 topics, student will choose 2 of them, which will be the study plan. This part will be done in class. For each of the 4 topics: - Relevance to the learning objectives: 2% - Relevance to the situation: 2% - Justification: 6% 2- Student must look for some information and study the 2 topics he/she has chosen. This part will be done by students in their own. 3- Student must expose the topics studied and answer some questions from the tutor about these topics. This part will be done in class. For each of the 2 questions: - Accreditation of knowledge acquired within the question context: 25% For both parts: - Readability and conciseness of 1st part: 5% - Readability and conciseness of 3rd part: 5% 30 WORKSHOPS EXAM 10 True or false questions about concepts from the workshops concerning to the Module topics.
