Lucy studied initially at Leicester University, graduating with a Combined BA Honours in Psychology and Sociology in 1995.
She went on to complete her Physiotherapy BSc Honours degree at the University of East London, graduating in 2000.
Lucy worked for the NHS for 7 years in various hospitals and Primary Care Trusts across London. After the birth of her son she combined working for the NHS with Private practice. In 2007 she left the NHS and solely worked in private practice.
In 2012 Lucy moved to Barcelona and started Barcelona Physiotherapy Service in 2014.
Her specialist interest areas are Sports Injuries and Orthopaedics. However she treats all ages and types of of patients. She is trained in Modified Pilates, acupuncture, Be Activated techniques and NeuroKinetic Therapy amongst others.
From 2008 until 2017 she sat on the Editorial Sub-Committee for In Touch, the journal for Physio First, the organisation representing Private Physiotherapists in the UK.
Since 2016 Lucy has worked as a clinical educator teaching three subjects on the International Physiotherapy Degree course (EUSES-UdG-ENTI-UB).
