She was graduated in Biology from de University of Girona (2011), with Master in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine from the University of Girona (2012). She obtained her PhD from the University of Girona in the program of Molecular Biology, Biomedicine and Health program (2018) linked to the Cork Lab. She is carrying out postdoctoral research in collaboration with the IRTA (Institute of Agrifood Research and Technologies). Her research has been mainly based on the study of the protective barriers of plants, specifically on the formation of the periderm. Currently, her research is focused on understanding what happens in the protective barriers of some fruits (cuticle), such as apples and grapes, when they are subjected to high temperatures.
