PhD in Humanities from the University of Girona, researcher at the GROC - Research Unit on the Origins of Cinema and professor at the ERAM School of Arts. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Valencia, a Master's degree in Filmmaking from ESCAC-UB, and a Master's degree in Contemporary Film and Audiovisual Studies from the Pompeu Fabra University, where he has worked as a teaching assistant and as a research technician in different R&D projects leaded by the CINEMA group. He combines his academic work with film criticism at the Col·lectiu de Crítics de Cinema de Girona. He has taught at the University of Girona, the Pompeu Fabra University and the University of Barcelona, and has participated in international conferences at the universities of Brighton, Cluj-Napoca, the Miguel Hernández University of Elche and the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, among others. His lines of research include film history, digital aesthetics and trends in contemporary cinema.
