Tenure-track Assistant Professor (professora lectora) in Public International Law and International Relations at the University of Girona. She holds a PhD in Public International Law and European Union Law from the same university (2024). Her doctoral thesis, The protection of victims of hrafficking in human beings under International Law and its application in the European Union: towards a statute for the victim, supervised by Dr. Maria Esther Jordana Santiago, was awarded the distinction of cum laude, the International Doctorate Mention and the Extraordinary Doctoral Award (2025). She graduated in Law from the University of Girona (2019) and holds a Master's degree in International Relations, Security and Development from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2020), with a specialisation in the European Union's external action. She has worked at the Department of Foreign Action and European Union of the Government of Catalonia and has completed research stays at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) (Viena) and at the International Sports Law Centre of the T.M.C. Asser Institute (The Hague). Her research focuses on International Human Rights Law, with a particular interest in the protection of victims of trafficking in human beings and the intersections between human rights and sport.
