Member of the Targetslab-GREP (UdG) research consortium and the Radio and Sound Observatory in Catalonia, Espinosa investigates the history of audiovisual media from a gender perspective, oral and persuasiveness communication, the impact of AI on the advertising sector and on teaching innovation. In this field, she has won the 1st Educational Innovation Award from the Josep Pàllach Institute of Education Sciences at the UdG (2020). As Co-IP of the International Co-operation Project, Wana Wake, she has obtained several international Erasmus + KA107 and KA171 projects. In the field of academic management, she has been Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, head of Gender and Diversity at the same faculty, and Coordinator of the Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Public Relations.
