Biography

With a holder of an undergraduate degree in Physics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, he is a senior lecturer in Experimental Sciences Education. 

He holds a PhD in Experimental Sciences Education (UAB) and worked at the University of Leeds (GB) for more than 10 years before joining the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Girona, where he teaches classes in the Bachelor's Degrees in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education and the Master's in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Foreign Language Teaching. He has focused his research on the role of discourse, technology and teaching design in the field of teaching and learning of experimental sciences.He is a member of the Scientific and Environmental Education Research Group (GRECA) and the Institute of Educational Research. 

In academic management, he has coordinated the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education with delegated functions in Projects, Innovation, and Internationalisation, served as director of the Department of Subject-Specific Education, and directed the Josep Pallach Institute of Education Sciences at the UdG.From 2019 to 2024, he was the coordinator of the Government of Catalonia's programme for the Improvement and Innovation of Initial Education for infant and primary school teachers.
