Ferran Mir received the title of honorary doctor due to his long academic trajectory, characterised by the rigour that has accompanied all of his work, both in the field of education and in the field of research, for his contribution to a rigorous analysis business cost accounting, leading to advances in knowledge of the economic context, for his vocation in relation to the university world and the UdG, and for his desire to inform and teach, as agreed by the Governing Council of the University of Girona, in session 7/10 of 30 September 2010, at the proposal of the Department of Business Studies at the University of Girona.
