Heart Energizer

The device for learning how to perform a cardiac massage at home

Device designed in a collaboration between the Polytechnic School (Department of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Construction) and the Chair of Cardiovascular Diseases (Faculty of Medicine) of the University of Girona.

When the heart suffers malignant arrhythmia, it cannot pump the blood so the blood doesn’t reach the brain.The person loses consciousness and dies in just a few minutes.

Chest compressions by themselves alone cannot make the heart work again, but they will keep the person alive until an AED (automated external defibrillator) arrives.

Heart Energizer has been designed for practising the force as well as the frequency of chest compressions, in an adult, in a child and in an infant.

Heart Energizer comes with a free App and a metronome and instructions.
